Any solutions to email inbox problem since the update?

I had the same problem after the new version 1.4 update was installed in my NOOK color.  Extremely aggravated and spent hours and weeks with BN techs to try all various ways to correct problem to no avail.  They did send me another NOOK color however I still have problems in that I'm unable to DELETE from my DELETE box...now have accumulated 102 emails.

Apparently the Nook Tablet just got an update to 1.42 and it corrects the email issue (from what I read in the forum) but why the update isn't available for the NC yet baffles me.  Seems those who own the NC are 2nd rate.
