I created a few different wallpaper images to use on my Nook Color. When I pull up the menu to change the wallpaper all the images display in the Photo Gallery tab, but only a few in the Wallpaper tab.
I placed all the image files (jpg) in My Files > Wallpapers. All the images are the same size (1800x1024).
I tried putting them in the Wallpapers folder in the internal memory as well as on my SD card with the same result (the same images displayed in Wallpapers). I'm not sure what else to try; has this happened to anybody else? Any tips/hints?
Thanks!

from a Youtube vid I saw it was my understanding that the wallpapers had to be resized to 600 x 800
not a hunert cent sure that's right but worth a try.

Regarding the images that are not showing up...
Idea 1: Are those images "Progressive" .jpg files? I'm not sure whether it makes a difference on the Nook Color, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did. Many programs and devices don't like "Progressive" .jpg images. "Optimized" is okay (and even desirable); but make sure they're "Standard," NOT "Progressive," just to be sure.
Idea 2: Are the file sizes very large? Again, I'm not sure whether that even makes a difference -- but that would be my second guess, if it's not the "Progressive" thing...

That happened to mine too. Even the images included with it wouldn't work. I read tap the image twice. But on mine i have to tap it 3 times. You might try that.
Edit: Sorry ... After re-reading your post, I guess that's not what you meant. I still thought it was weird to have to do that though.

I'm pretty sure the images are standard jpg images. The weird thing is some of the pictures I've taken work, some don't (they were all taken by the same camera and edited the same way). The filesizes are very similar and not too big. I'll try editing the settings to see if that makes any difference.
Thanks for the suggestions.
