Or you could always read further down the page and find an alternative way that works just as well. On any other message board you would be flamed off of it for not using the search button property, and not reading the whole thread. Considering it was only one page, there's no excuse.

I want to give my sister my old Nook (the one with the color at bottom panel).  She lives in Israel.  The Nook will stay registered to me in the US.  Will she be able to download the books I buy here in the US?  Someone at Barnes and Noble said that she would be able to download the books I buy here if she has access to wi-fi.  Is this correct?

This is correct, books can only be purchased in the US, with a credit card that has a US billing address on file.

Once a book is purchased and therefore attached to the account, it can then be downloaded anywhere.

I ran into the same issue in Costa Rica, we have moved here permanently so it is either torrent or proxy or a $200 paper weight!

If you have a US billing address & card registered on your account it should work anywhere. Mine is fine in the UK now.
