E-MAIL - Frontier

Hello!

I am trying to help someone with setting up their e-mail application on a Nook Color. She has a Frontier e-mail account. I contacted 1-800-THE-BOOK and they suggested an application called Touchdown. If you have a Frontier e-mail account, how did you set it up?

Here is my Frontier setup:

incoming:  pop3.frontier.com

                security=none

                port=110

outgoing:  smtp.frontier.com

               security=none

               port=587

               sign in=yes

               user=friendsname@frontier.com

Now, this may not be correct, but it sure does work for me.  Be aware that Frontier uses different email suffixes - some are .net, some .com, etc, etc.  I got all this from the Frontier website - email page.
