Fonts Won't Display

My Nook Color will only display one font.  I have books that were purchased from B & N (not cheap or free books) and also epub library books.

I can change the size but not the font itself.

Is this a defect or am I doing something wrong?

Make sure "Publisher Defaults" is OFF (it's in the section where you choose text size, etc.)

Yes, publisher defaults is turned off.  This turns off automatically if you change the font size.

Hmmm... try this:

I just opened an epub book, and it didn't let me change fonts. I noticed that no font was actually selected, so I tapped one, and once it added the checkmark next to a font style, I was then able to scroll through the fonts. Same with the color setting.

Does that do anything there?

After the new update, I noticed this was happening to me too.  The ONLY solution I have found is to reboot - turn the Nook completely off, and back on.  It works for me, hopefully it will work for you.

I called Tech Support this morning and they had me try a reboot, which did not work. The technician then got out a Nook Color and tried it himself and he couldn't get the fonts to work either!  I have only bought mine recently, so I guess there is a glitch in the latest batch.  He is going to report it.   Thanks to everyone for responding a trying to help!
