The update file is 190MB. Y'all might want to add that little fact to the FAQs. I was going to wait for this to download automatically, but I wouldn't want it to start up sometime when I didn't have a great connection!
Last time I had an update it waited until I was at the Dr.'s office (I didn't realize they had wifi) to run. It did ok, but I think that was a much smaller update (or they had really fast wifi, which may be true too!)
Fingers crossed that I don't have any issues mentioned.
One question, can you delete the update once it's been installed...or not?

In answer to your question, yes you can delete the update. You will actually re-set to factory specs prior to the update, it will be version 1.1. Go to YouTube search "Huskermania" the video you want is there. very easy to follow and very user friendly. I re-set my NC and rooted last night.

Ok, well that sounds like you only want to delete the update if you want to roll it back? I didn't know it would reset. Fortuantely I just did the update and everything worked fine. Thanks for the tip. Maybe at some point I'll want to root the thing, but I'll just keep it as it is for now.

After an update, the file will often be placed in the Lost folder. I have deleted these files and my NC did not roll back or reset.

Where is the lost file located? Is it only visible when you have it hooked up to the computer?
When I connect to my Linux computer, the file was in the folder "LOST.DIR".

Thanks! That didn't make sense to me that it would roll back by just deleting the update file. (And I'd like to not have a lot of MB of wasted space.)
Sorry there are people having problems with 1.2...It's awesome!

Agreed. The problem is if you just wait for the automatic download/setup, you never know when it's going to deside to pop up. Or under what conditions. So from now on I'll definitely look to sideloading these updates myself instead of waiting on B&N servers to push it to my NC.
