I recently subscribed to the B&N offer where I received a Nook Color for $99 with a one year subscription to the NY Times. I am very unhappy to find that the content provided on the Nook version of the Times is lacking much of the content that is available on the Times website - NYTimes.com. So far I have noticed the following content missing:
1. No bestseller lists on Sunday. This from a company that sells books.
2. No charts or graphs that accompany articles.
3. No sports standings for any professional sports.
4. Only one picture to accompany each article, even if 4 or 5 pictures are available on the Times website.
This is a serious misrepresentation, because the advertising for this offer mentions the Times website. I would like to see B&N management put pressure on the Times to offer its subscribers the content that is on NYTimes.com. If this is not changed I would have been a lot better off just subscribing to the website and reading the paper on my smartphone.

The New York Times sells books? see #2
2. No charts or graphs that accompany articles.
Your subscription also grants you access to the NYT website, try there.
3. No sports standings for any professional sports.

Oh, I see you just have opted to not use that feature. Misrepresentation? Let's see here, on the deescription for NYT nook edition I see "This digital edition of The New York Times contains the articles found in the print edition, but omits some images and tables. Also, features such as the crossword puzzle, box scores and classifieds are not currently available."

How is the experience of using that website with the B&N browser?

I actually don't know, I don;t read NYT Although I've used my local paper's site just fine. I was just baffled that the OP is claiming false advertising when it clearly isn't and claimed that there was no web access when there definitely is. If there was a fault with web access, we would have heard about it when the feature was added last summer.
