OMG!! Thanks a million. I was playing a game, which is something I've never done on my Nook Color, and my Nook completely froze. I tried just letting the battery die but that was taking waaaayyyy too long but your solution worked and now and I am up and reading again. Note to self  'do not play games on Nook Color'.  Once again, thanks for your helpful advice.

will this work with a Nook that has an N2A in it? My battery was dying Sunday Morning then it froze on the locked screen, where you slide your finger left to right, it won't do anything. I've charged it, tried holding the N button as well as the power button, I get the screen to screenshot, reboot, turn off etc. but the screen doesn't respond.

Yes, this should work regardless of what you have in the SD Card slot.

Unless they specifically changed something.

Also, if you are in the Android OS then it might not work. You shoudl give it a try though.
