What Ya_Ya clearly explained is that your book is no longer lendable.
A book can only be lent one time, to one person. That person has 7 days to accept or reject your offer. If they accept it, then that friend has 14 days to read it. During either of these time periods, you cannot read it at the same time on your nook.
If your offer is not accepted at the end of 7 days, the book returns to your library and is still lendable.
But once the offer is accepted and the person opens the book, they have 14 days to read it. After the 14 days expires, whether your friend has finished reading the book or not, the book returns to your library and you can open it again, but it is no longer lendable.
