Not Registering

I locked my nook tablet with the 4 digit passcode and after not using it for about 7 months i forgot the password. so i did a factory reset on it and it worked en all, but when i go to register it gives me an error screen telling me to call customer service, and when i try to create a new one entirely it still gives me and error. does anyone now how to fix this?

I had this happen a long time ago and can't quite remember how to fix but I called 1-800-THE-BOOK and they had it fixed in 5 minutes
