PC Not recognizing books

My library is visible on my Nook Color. However, when I plug it into my computer the only book that is currently viewable is a sideloaded library book. Clicking on the other files says "this folder is empty". What am I missing?

Re: PC Not recognizing books

B&N content is stored in a hidden partition.

I you want a copy of your books on your PC, use Nook for PC to download the books.

Interesting....did that realize that. What I was hoping to do was somehow to get them to show up on my Galaxy Tab on the Nook app. That does not seem to happen. Wonder if it is doable and if so what the trick might be.

Re: PC Not recognizing books

My understanding was that you only need to know account password and credit card number last 4 digits and you can move B&N books over from one device to another.

People download to PC all the time and then move over to Nook.

At least that's what I've read here on forums.

Nook App on Galaxy Tab - you can just download books straight to it.

To transfer books over from Nook to Tab, you can look in

J:\B&N Downloads\Books  folder of your Nook.

Just replace J:

with whatever drive your Nook shows up as.

Then move those files to Tab. I think it will ask for password and credit card number.

Re: PC Not recognizing books

Update: I checked and only some of the B&N books are shown.

So first poster is right. There must be a hidden folder where other B&N purchases are kept.

Re: PC Not recognizing books

Can't you just download the Nook app on the Galaxy Tab, sign into your account, and download the books?  Wouldn't it be easier that way?
