Sync with iPhone/PC apps, wishlist issue

To the NOOK techies - I just got my NOOKcolor yesterday.  I've been using the NOOK app on my iPhone for about 2 months now, so I'm in the middle of reading a book there now.  From what's been said, I thought that NOOKcolor would register to my account and then auto-sync my bookmark and last page read from the book I've been reading on my iPhone.  It has not done that.  I even turned off my NOOKcolor completely and turned it back on, hoping that would jog it to sync.  It did not.  I also de-registered the device, logged out of BN.com, and then logged back in and re-registered the device, making sure I used the same login (which is, btw, the only BN login I have).  No dice.  I found my spot on the NOOK, read 2 more chapters and bookmarked, then today checked my phone and PC apps - those are still bookmarked where I left off on my phone last, not picking up the 2 chapters I read on my NOOK.  Am I doing something wrong, or is this a glitch that is being fixed soon?

I also looked, out of curiosity, for my wishlist under the Shop quick link.  It says I have no books on my wishlist despite the fact that I've added over 100 books to my eBooks wishlist on the BN website.  I noticed in another thread that the NOOKcolor wishlist is totally different from the BN website wishlist.  Um.  Why?  That's really dumb.  If I have an eBook wishlist on the website, why WOULDN'T it show up on my eBook reader?  What's the deal?

I have the same problem I have Nook PC on my computer and it did not update the last page read after I read them on my Nook. I wonder if the sync only goes one way and the nook does not send last page read to the Nook apps?

I don't think so, but I'm hoping a real NOOK tech support person will answer us.  The verbiage on the app page says, "Automatically sync your last page read and bookmarks to other devices," which would indicate to me that it should go both ways.  Regardless, I've tried it both ways and neither direction works for me.  I was in the middle of a book on my iPhone when I got my NOOK, and it didn't pick up my last page read or bookmark from that on my NOOK.

We're aware that there are some issues with syncing between the various NOOK client apps and with NOOK & NOOKcolor (and the reverse as well).  We are trying to improve the syncing experience across the entire NOOK branded experience, but this may require fixes in the client apps as well.

I have both a Nook and a Kindle.  I just today upgraded to the latest nook firmware hoping the cross app syncing would now work. It works phenomenally well on the Kindle and I hope the B&N engineers get it working soon on the Nook. I'd like to buy books from both sites but for now the Kindle syncing gives it a big edge.  I have an android phone, an iTouch, and several laptops and syncing across all is really, really nice.

this post may be well over a year old, but I am STILL having problems. I am reading a book on my nook app for iPhone and on my book color. when I change pages on the nook, it asks me on my iPhone if I'd like to go to the new reading location. when I read further on my phone and go back to the nook, it's on the last page I read on my nook. why does this function only work one way?? (I am clicking the spinning arrows both times and tries shutting my nook completely off)

It would be great to propogate the nook wishlist amongst all devices registered to an account.  This makes it so much easier for us to give you money!
