DVDcatalyst, $10.
Most of the members on here use it and I have yet to see a complaint.
The SW developer is a frequent contributor and provides excellent support. ![]()
Now can we stop trying to use this site as a sales platform?

I've used Handbrake and own DVD Catalyst. Both do a great job at converting videos for the NC. I did have a few issues with Handbrake settings, where I would have to play with the cropping and video settings to get the output I liked but that could just be my unwillingness to learn yet another video converter. DVD Catalyst just worked, no problems at all. Plus DVD Catalyst supports MP4 streaming mode for the mp4s it creates and I used Mitch's free MP4 streamer for streaming those videos on my home network.

Handbrake doesn't crack the encryption though. Need DVD Catalyst or MakeMKV for that.
I have used MakeMKV and Handbrake and it works great. That is all free too.

Another 4 thumbs up for DVD Catalyst. I cheated and used 2 thumbs twice. Mitch, the developer answers any and all questions, it is just about a 1 button conversion, will convert DVDs and other movies to the NC format effortlessly, but does offer other options for a multitude of other devices. Best value for ten bucks or even for free for any program, IMO.
