First:
NookColor won't connect to my wirless router (Netgear DG834G v5)... and I can't find a reason for that! Every other device I tried connects without problems. I checked the authentication and everything!
Second:
I'm able to connect by making my computer an access point using a software called "Connectify" but the connection keeps disconnecting every couple of minutes.
Any ideas?
P.S.
I'm using the latest software update "1.2.0"
also I tried booting CM7 from the SD card, and I'm encountering the exact same problem.

If it won't connect on either boot then 1.2v is not the problem. Are you sure you don't have mac address filtering set to on in your router and DHCP is enabled? Are you using mainly the defaults on the router setup or did you do much setting changes? Do you have the router set to wireless n?

Thank you very much for the response,
Well, I never thought that the problem could be because of the router as all the other devices function properly, and there's DHCP and no MAC address filtering and the router actually supports b&g only ![]()
Anyhow, I borrowed an Access Point from a friend, disabled the wireless funtionality of the router, and the Nook connected without problems ![]()
Then, the conclusions:
1) There's something wrong with the router settings, I can't find it I exactly so I will reset it, and do all the configuration again, It won't be much work as it's a home network.
2) That "Connectify" program is not good ![]()
