Wifi connection, unable to connect.

I am at my wits end with this problem. I have a D-Link DSL-2750B, just got it Tuesday from verizon. I have not seen anyone else on her with this same device. I have tried a lot of the fixes on here but nothing works for me. I have a Nook glowlight, have had it for several years and never had a problem until i changed to the D-Link. Anyone here know what my problem is for not being able to connect to wifi. When i turn the nook on it shows the wireless network, i tap it and put in the pass word but it doesn't connect. It shows the network signal as 4 bars and also locked. I am really frustrated with this.

Make sure you use the correct password. The password that you need is the wireless key (pre-shared key PSK)  that you find in the settings of your router, or perhaps on a label somewhere on your router.

This is not the password that you use to access the settings of your router!
