call them to have it replaced...
First of all, ignore this person.
Next, does anything happen when you touch the screen? You said you turned it on, but did you wake it up? When the screen is lit up there is a n in a green circle that you drag across the screen to wake it up.

and again ignore this person - who has posted the same line 46 times in two days.
Are you sure you completely powered it off? If you don't hold the power down long enough it's like putting a computer in standby. Then push the power button again to boot it up. Then you should have control.

There is a somewhat common problem with touch screens in general. If you've got extra "glop" on the screen or have recently pressed too hard o nthe screen it may become unresponsive.
To completely restart the device without having to press the "power off" prompt on th screen, just continue to hold the side power button for another 3-5 seconds for it to manually power down.
Don't forget to wipe down the screen before powering the device back up
edit: replace "go o k" with "glop", apparently that is censored, lol

This person is the same as kapsukdulan. Constant random posting, some of it even like a stalker.

This person is correct - I was stuck on Netflix with the word edit and when I powered off and back on it started working again. Thank you
