I had a kindle but returned it because my son has a nook color he just loves and so we can exchange books we have read.  NOw my kindle was able to read text to me .  I have MS and have difficulties seeing at times.  How can I make my nookcolor read to me I see you have the ability for kid books...isnt there anything for adults I dont want to have to return my nook and get a kindle again.  also how do I download free books from google?

The NC can play audiobooks in mp3 format. This is actually better than the kindles robotic voice. You have characters voices as well as scene setting music. I have used audiobooks from the public library web site(free)and from BN.com. I downloaded Overdrive to my pc and then downloaded the audiobook from the library or BN.com to Overdrive. With Overdrive open, connect your NC to your computer and then click transfer. Audiobooks can be found in apps > music. The BN "shop" searches google books as well as BN books. To find free books type in 0.00 in the search field. Hope this is helpful. Welcome to the forums!
