Book Covers not showing properly in Library

I am having an issue where many books, the covers are not showing in the library, or they are cut in the half and only the top half of the cover is appearing.  This is only occurring in the library.  I've tried updating the books and reconfiguring the books, but to no avail.  Any suggestions?

Where did you get the books?  Are they protected?

If not, you can use Calibre to re-format the files.  ePubs are made out of HTML/XML like web pages.  There is a LOT of flexibility in how those can be constructed.  It sounds like yours are not constructed to the same rigid standard that the Nook likes.  Calibre rights that standard (and makes messed-up formats work) but it can only work on unlocked books.

Otherwise, you might try complaining to the seller/publisher and see if they will fix their file.

I have had this problem with my BN content, especially pre- orders. I find that my Calibre books show up fine. I 've deleted the books from my nook library and then re- downloaded them. Seems to do the truck.

yeah.  i tried formatting them in calibre to no avail.  I'll try fiddling around with them some more and figuring out how to get the covers to show.  Thanks.
