I've created a simple ePub book of dictionary words, to make the built-in dictionary truly useful, but have found I am unable to hold select hyphenated words.
I think this is a well known bug. Yesterday I wanted to look up a hyphenated word that was on a page break. Strangely, when I highlighted the second half of the word on the next page it worked correcty. Just wondering, that, in general, if you try highlighting the second half of highlighted words it will work.
Interestngly, I was able to look up hyphenated words without a problem on an EPUB book checked out of my local library (Perdido Street Station, if it makes a difference). I wonder why it works for some books and not others.
