Font size - different setting for every book

As you might know, a certain size setting on one book might not result in the same font size on another book.

But the Nook ST keeps the same setting, so when I'm switching between some books I have to adjust the font size every time.

This doesn't seem right. Is there a way to make it remember the specific setting for every book?

On top of that, this process of font size changing seems to turn pages, which makes this that much more annoying. It seems like a bug to me.

There currently isn't a way to make the nook remember your font settings for a given book.  It'd be a nice feature for B&N to add.

The page turning happens because the nook is recaculating the way the entire book displays when you change the font size.  Obviously either more or fewer words will fit on the page, and some of them could be shifted up or down based on the layout of the pages before it, so it can seem like the page is changing.  I don't think anything can be done about this - it's just the way the reflow works.

Re: Font size - different setting for every book

FWIW: I've tried most every reader in the Android market and I am not aware of one that provides per-book settings. It's an interesting idea. The ability to associate books with a theme as part of the shelving/organization features might work well.
