Font size of side loaded books

I have side loaded many book onto my nook simple touch. Two of the books I side loaded have huge fonts, and they will not adjust. I tried all the fonts sized and styles and the publisher's defaults. I tried deleting the books and reloading them, but that did not help. I do not think the books were really deleted. I used Calibre to load the books.

I've seen quite a few ebooks like that. In most if not all cases this was an unintentional setting by the publisher. It seems one of the EPUB publishing software packages has font permissions disabled by default.

If the ebooks use DRM Calibre can't help. If they do not use DRM, converting from EPUB to EPUB should allow you to change the fonts.
