My Nook Second generation is frozen after charging!

My nook second edition is frozen after I just charged it. It is frozen on the screen saver. I've tried holding it down for 20 seconds, and it hasn't worked. Help!

Did you charge it until the little light turned GREEN?

You may have a bad charger or it may not have been plugged in all the way.

e-Ink screens doen't "freeze."  If the battery is dead, the Nook can't wake up and the screen will show the same image FOREVER (it takes no power to hold the image).

Check to make sure it really IS charging (the light turning green) first and report back.

I've let it sit on the charger all day and the light went green but it still won't work.

Have you tried holding the power button (top back of the NST) until it turns off--then press again to reboot it. Good luck.
