Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

BN Blogs and The Daily

I've noticed that BN has a few other blogs on their website. Is there a way to add BN blogs other than Grin & Tonic and Unbound to "The Daily?

I agree!  Also, I really found myself wishing certain blog writers would keep their childish snide political comments to themselves.  Way to work at alienating half your market there BN Blog editor!

I would enjoy being able to add some of the other blogs to The Daily as well.

Re: BN Blogs and The Daily - Removal, Too?

I, too, would like to be able to add other blogs to The Daily, but my question is the converse:  is there any way to remove things appearing on The Daily?  I've had my nook long enough that I don't really need to see "Your New Nook" by Dave Barry or "NOOK Tips" every time I open it.

I too am tired of seeing "your new nook"...Would love to be able to customize what I see when I turn on my nook everyday... That's half the fun of a new electronic gadget...

Re: BN Blogs and The Daily

I would really like better content. The snooty tone of many of the articles and the topics do not appeal to me at all.

Re: BN Blogs and The Daily

I agree - B&N is really missing the mark with the Daily.   They need some bloggers with real humor - like Erma Bombeck.  I thought recently they had taken some board suggestions to feature recipes - but that lasted what......ONE day?
