Hi all,
I haven't found out exactly how to reproduce, cause sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but often when reading a book, say I am on page 50, I go to the home screen, which says: "Reading now, on page 50 of 200". I click on the book, and instead of showing me page 50, it shows me page 1.
Anyone knows how to fix this? I'm running firmware 1.0.1, but this firmware didn't fix it...
Thanks, Erik

Don't know if this will help, but if you tap the "book" icon in the upper left of the screen, it will bring you back to the page, and book, you were last reading. This works where ever you are when it is visible.
I think that tapping any book cover brings you to the start of that book. Which kind of makes sense - overall.

Well, I dont know if this helps, but I have had the same problem with books that I have downloaded from a library or other (non B&N) sources. It seems, I think, that if I transfer the books (epub) from my computer directly into the "books" file on the Nook (via a USB cable) I run into the above problem. If I first transfer the books into "Calibre" and then into the Nook via Calibre, I don't have the "reading now" problem.

Everybody, thanks for the replies!
@apetit The same problem occurs with the book icon. And tapping the book icon doesn't bring you to the first page of the book, thought that might make sense, it brings you to the page where you stopped reading. Sometimes ;-)
@capitolgent Interesting. I also use the USB cable to put it in the epub book directory I've got two Nook ereaders, and they both have the same issue, even though they have different books on them. I might try calibre, to see if it has any effect.
@northlite Nope, the book is just on the internal memory, I don't have a memory card inserted yet. I also wanted to try bookmarking, but haven't done it yet.The practice of remembering the page I use too... oh, it almost feels like a real book, doesn't it? ;-)
I'm glad to hear more people have this problem. I stopped using the power-off button now, to see if that makes a difference. I haven't had the problem yet since I did that, but I haven't read enough to link those two things together for sure yet...
