Re: Cover suggestions

I just ordered a JAVO book style cover for mine, it's the cherry blossom one. It's currently out of stock but they are getting all colors back in stock next week! So excited!

Re: Cover suggestions

It's not hard at all to hold the cover back.  The cover is "floppy" and just flips back of its own accord.  No pressure is needed to hold it in place at all.

Overall, the case is a little heavy, but wonderful.

Ressurrecting a dead thread to ask a question about the Oberon covers...

If I wanted to read one-handed with the cover folded back onto itself, would I be able to do that without awkwardness?

I found an Oberon cover review with a photo  that made it look awkward.  I find the covers so captivating that I'm asking for a second opinion :smileyhappy:

I have the Adler cover and the Lewis and Clark bag, love working with them both!  Some people don't like the "tray" along the bottom, I do!  It really keeps it secure and as someone before stated, it raises the nook just a tad so the page forward button is in a perfect position for me, I have really long fingers for a female (that's before the nails!).

The nook doesn't fit in the bag with the cover, but that's fine with me since I load it down so much the bag becomes rather bulky.  Besides the nook, it holds my BG meter, my iPhone and all the cables, lights, etc.  Shoot, I even have extra Splenda, band-aids and neosporine (others with diabetes will understand this, or moms with young kids!) so it's been a real boon for me, not to mention my doctor is impressed! :smileyvery-happy:

Here is my conundrum, I might be going the insulin route soon, and might need to find something that will keep all that as well the insulin stuff.  :smileysad:  Has anyone found a bagthat would handle all that and still maintain a relatively small footprint?

Sidenote:  Man, I wish they would let us add words to the dictionary on these boards!

Have you looked at borsabella.com?  She gets wonderful reviews for her bags, and has lots of different sizes available.

Re: Cover suggestions

The key question is, how much protection do you think you'll need?  The Oberons are beautiful, but they and the M-Edge models, like most of the B&N covers, are open on three sides. If the flip-open type works for you, lots of great options.

I travel a lot and wanted wraparound protection without having to take my Nook in and out of a sack, a box or an envelope, so I went with the Madison Trifold.  I'm really happy with it:  good looks, great protection, and it folds away conveniently for reading.

Have fun:  lots of choices, and if you don't like what you get, you can always get another one.  But as someone has already said, owning a Nook is getting to be expensive! :smileyhappy:

Sounds perfect!  And thank you for reminding me about the weight...I'd better keep that in mind if I think I'm going to spend hours holding this setup in one hand.
