Re: Deleting library books from nook

You cannot delete directly on the Nookcolor.  Connect to your computer and either delete the file from the Digital Editions folder manually or open ADE, select the Nook click the small triangle on the book's icon and delete.

I know how to delete them through ADE on my laptop, but I have several that show up on my Nookcolor in the Digital Editions folder under My Files, and the books have either been returned or expired. How can I delete the icons from the Nook itself so that I don't end up with pages and pages of library eBook icons?

Open ADE

Connect the Nook

Click on the Nook drive or "bookshelf" inside ADE.

This will show you a list of all the books that are on the Nook.

Find the library book and delete it.

When you connect your Nook/click on it, it may take awhile to populate and will appear to be frozen.  Leave it alone, it's trying to catalog all the books on your Nook, even the BN books which it can't read.  You also get a message about books being licensed to another user.  Just click ok, it's referring to B&N books.

Re: Deleting library books from nook

Thanks - that did the trick! I think I was expecting the Nook to kick them off immediately as soon as I deleted them from ADE, but it takes awhile. I left it plugged into my laptop for just a few minutes, and when I ejected the Nook and went into my Digital Editions folder, the titles I had deleted on my laptop were all gone.
