I found these through Teleread. They were originally made for the Kindle but work without a problem on the nook.
You can find them here. These really come out beautifully on the nook.
How to do this:
- First you need to set up a file folder for these on your computer - I just named my Disney Princesses
- Go to the link above...
- All five pictures will be there. Right click on them and select save as, then save them under whatever file name you want (I just used the name of the princess) in the file folder you created in step one.
- AFTER you have saved all 5 pictures to the new folder, plug your nook into the computer.
- In Windows (I don't have a Mac) go to Computer or My Computer and you should see the nook directory.
- Drag the entire folder you created in step one to the Screensavers folder on the nook drive.
- Eject your nook.
- Go to Settings--->Display---->Screensaver then select the name of the folder you have dragged onto your nook. All Done!
- For wallpaper, just drag the individual pictures onto the wallpaper file on your nook.

Doing that got me lower-resolution versions. To get the full 800x600 size, I had to click each picture separately and then right-click and save.

Did it? I originally used the same method you did and didn't think of the possibility of lower res when I typed out the instructions using the other method... Thanks for the update! I'll see if I can edit the OP....

This user on nook-look has some Nightmare on Elm Street, Little Mermaid and Tinkerbell screensavers (as well as others) for download.
If you want them, I wouldn't hesitate, no one guards their copyright and trademarks as zealously as Disney.

These pictures are actually from hardcover notebooks that disney made. I own the cinderella one because she is my favorite disney princess. Thanks for posting the pics though they are all very pretty.

I have downloaded the photos into a folder, and can see the folder on my nook but when I click it, it will not become the screen saver. I do use a mac so could that be the problem?
