Re: EBooks-Vampires

I have to say that Stephanie Meyers is an AWESOME author.  The Twilight series was truly amazing.

I have read over 70 books with the Vampire Romance genre.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Black Dagger Brotherhood Series- J. K. Ward

Vampire Kisses Series- Ellen Schreiber

Vampire Diaries & Night World Series - L.J. Smith

Evernight Series- Claudia Gray

Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead

House of Night Series-  P.C. Cast

Dark Elite Series- Chloe Neill

Blood Coven Series - Mari Mancusi

I hope this is enough to get your started.

Re: EBooks-Vampires

Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, about two dozen books on the vampire St. Germain.  Start with Hotel Transylvania.

Far better than most of the writers who followed her, especially Ann Rice.

Re: EBooks-Vampires

I will cast another vote for Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles series of books. In addition Stephen King has written books involving vampires, most notably Salem's Lot.

I jsut finished Salem's Lot and it was great. It is a good romance novel with some "neckin'" and a little "heartache" in it. LOL!!!

Also, there is a prequel story called "Jerusalem's Lot" and a sequel story called "One for the Road" which both can be found in his short story collection called "Night Shift."
Check those out for some good vampire reading. Since it is 1 book and 2 short stories, would that be considered a series?
