FICTIONWISE 50% (YES that is 5 and 0) OFF!

[ Edited ]

This was worth a shout...

Code is F50BN0C914  Good all weekend....

Cash, credit, paypal or micropay credit - it doesn't matter...  It is 50% off of EVERYTHING!!!!!

I've had about $137 sitting in my cart (after the buywise discount) waiting for a 20% off or something...  It took the 50% off the discounted cart....    :smileyvery-happy::smileyvery-happy::smileyvery-happy:

Great deal, Frog!   But the selection at Fictionwise has gotten so small since the Agency Model ... :smileysad:

True but I've been wanting to add a lot of back list titles to my collection and bunches are there, Alexander McCall Smith, Linda Howard, Lisa Gardner, Robert B. Parker, Lisa Unger and J. Kellerman just to name a few!  :smileyhappy:

Right now I have 43 bestsellers in my cart for $177 net or about $4.12 per book.  That's about half the credit I have with Fictionwise, I have much more shopping to do!

Frog, have you read any of Lisa Gardner's Quincy/Rainee series?  I've enjoyed the other Lisa Gardner books that I've read.  This might be a cheap way to get them.

No, I haven't read them but they sound good, I've got those in my cart...  I also added C. Reich and L. Child...  :smileyhappy:

For those that love romances, I'm seeing a lot of good buys in that genre also...  All those HQ books at 50%, yowsa!

I am a happy frog!!!!

Rangers won (Oakland lost of course!) and the Halos are down and I'm shopping for things I want and feeling good about it, can it get better than this????  :smileyhappy:

I wish I would have been here earlier tonight to see this.  Just went to B&N and bought a gift card and then came home and used it to buy the entire Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon.  I could have saved at least $20.00!!  Sigh!!!

Maybe I'm missing something.  I've been wanting to read Gerritsen's 3-7 books, but I only see 6 here.  I jumped ahead and read Ice Cold from the library.  Her other books aren't available at my libraries.  Bummer.

@FrogAlum - Life could get really good if B&N would have the 7 Layer Cookie deal again (or a brownie for those that don't like coconut) and if the Rangers win the next two games!  Tonight's game is standing room only.

Re: FICTIONWISE 50% (YES that is 5 and 0) OFF!

Thanks for posting this, Frog.

I see one book already that I want but I'm a bit confused about the reader choices. At registration you have to choose your favorite ebook format.  It says Secure ereader recommended.

I usually get books in epub to put on the Nook.  The first one I found to buy has two choices, either Secure Ereader or Secure Adobe EPUB.

I'm assuming (dangerous to assume) that I should choose Secure ereader at registration and Secure Adobe EPUB at purchase.

Waiting for one of you lovely helpers to advise me. :smileyhappy:

Thanks tons, Frog!

I got the entire Outlander series for $28, and 3 books by an author friend, too.:smileyhappy:

OMG  I just purchased 87 books...  I actually "spent" $5.54 ( I went a little over) and that triggered the 15% micropay bonus on the ENTIRE amount...  I now have an additional $53.72 to spend.  This is getting hard!  LOL

IN SPITE of the limited selection, I was able to clear five titles off my Wish List, and use up my store credit, too.

Good deal, Frog!  :smileyvery-happy:

This is a good deal, that's for sure!  What did you purchase?  I'm stuck on this last $50! :smileyhappy:

Honestly, knowing the FW system, I purposefully went over by a few dollars to see if the 15% would kick in but when it did my first thought was "Oh NO!" but I got over that in a hurry! LOL

I wonder WHY they are doing this...  I've thought for a while now that maybe that had to clear some of the credits off the books before they could get up to speed with Agency 5, it could be cash flow but in that case they should have limited the discount to cash/credit card/paypal but they didn't...  Getting ready to go out of business maybe???  The newsletters are coming less and less frequently.

All I know for sure is I'm not leaving a penny on the table...

I got:

The Golden Compass (His Dark Materials Series #1)

The Subtle Knife (His Dark Materials Series #2)

The Amber Spyglass (His Dark Materials Series #3)

The 38 Million Dollar Smile (Donald Strachey Series #10)

You Are Here

B&N just dropped the price on You Are Here, but up to this week it's been out of sight.  The 38 Million Dollar Smile isn't available as an eBook on B&N at all, and I really like Stevenson.  So it was a good day!

@ABThree

Thanks for reminding me of "You are here" :smileyhappy:. Ellard was interviewed by Michael Feldman a while ago (on Whaddaya know?) and I've been meaning to read that one. Not a bad book haul this weekend!

Yeah, it looks interesting, doesn't it?  Looking forward to reading it -- but I wasn't going to pay $18 for the privilege!

Stupid question. I've never bought from FictionWise. To be able to load to Nook, do I purchase the secure Adobe PDF version?

I don't think this is a stupid question at all, because yesterday I was wondering the same thing.lol

I found that the secure ereader versions could be directly side-loaded to the Nook from my documents folder on the computer, but the PDF versions had to go through Adobe Digital Editions. Still, very easy to do.:smileyhappy:
