Free Fridays

My mother always used to get her free Fridays books weeks after she forgot to get hers.  I forget one Friday and the book is no longer free anymore.  Why's that?  I guess I better set me a reminder for tomorrow

Giving away the store

Back when there were a few thousand NOOKs out there, the number of free copies given away in a week was a lot less than the number being given away in a single day now that there are millions of NOOKs out there.

These days, Free Fridays means "get it on Friday." Some e-books are available somewhat longer, but few make it to Monday. (You'll also notice that most of the Free Fridays offerings now come from really obscure publishers.)

Re: Giving away the store

These posts always make me raise an eyebrow.  It's called Free Friday, not Free Every Day.  It's not that hard to figure out which day of the week Friday is, so if you want a Free Friday book, check in on Friday and get the book.
