Since 1997, you’ve been coming to to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: Free eBook!!

[ Edited ]

A small caution: this book ends with a cliff-hanger. It's part of a five-book series.

(Or so the reviews say. I haven't read it, myself.)

Added: From what I can tell, only four books in the series are finished so far, and each ends with a cliff-hanger. The final book is due out next January 18th.

Re: Free eBook!!

I am torn on whether it sounds like my kind of book or not, but for free it's worth a shot to find out lol.  Having another series to follow could be good for me.  :smileyhappy:

Re: Free eBook!!

Have read the 4 books that are out...fantastic series and yes, they all ended with a cliffhanger. The author promises the 5th book will answer all questions. I've been trying to wait patiently for this last installment while praying that when it is released that it also comes out in ebook form.  :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Free eBook!!

Ok I new to Nook.  If this is free, how do you get it.  When I look on the B&N site it is $6.29, unless I just want to read one chapter then it is free.  Help please. :smileyhappy:

Re: Free eBook!!

It was free back in July.  If a book is free now, it will say so.  A lot of first books of series have been given away for free over the past year, but usally only for a limit time.
