Gifting Nook Books

Is there any way for me to purchase a particular Nook Book as a gift for someone else? I'm not interested in a gift card, but in the personal touch that shopping for something specific adds. (Much as paper books have done. :smileyhappy: )

At this time, B&N does not offer the option to gift a Nookbook.  I believe Kobo offers this service.

Maybe a gift card with a handwritten suggestion for a particular book?  Maybe even a printed review of said book, including your own handwritten comments?  I know I would appreciate someone caring enough to go that extra step.

What's more, now you can send e-cards to your loved ones Nooks. Just did a quick search on BN site and there is a lot of Valentine's Day cards there:
