Hiding Books in the N1E Library

I was recently given the N1E and I absolutely love it!  My only question is this - how do I "hide" books in my library?  I tried creating bookshelves, but that just organizes them.  Tried archiving them and they're still there.  I don't necessarily want to delete them - I'd like to hide the ones I've aready read.

After you've archived them, select "Hide archived items" in the "Change view" menu.
