Re: Hiding or Password protecting books on Nook Color

Molly O. (CRM2723):  I appreciate your reply and the information.  But now as I write this it's been a year-and-a-half since your note, including at least three overall software update releases for my Nook Tablet (1.4.1, 1.4.2, 1.4.3), and nothing yet that allows the hiding of the archive files on the Nook device, and/or any way of password-protecting/hiding content (games, books, periodicals, music, video, etc.).

It especially disappoints me to read in blogs that a very early edition of the Nook device DID have the hide archives option, but that B&N did not include that feature in the OS for later devices.  What were those people thinking?  How can this not be a big deal that requires inclusion in an update release?  Nothing in these releases so far.

Please check and advise us when, if ever, it can be expected.

Thank you.

The archived books do not show on the NC, are you saying that it's different on the Nook Tablet?  Because they don't show on my NC, I just checked and they don't show on my NST.

Re: Hiding or Password protecting books on Nook Color

Thank you, thank you! for telling me to go to the view part and say Hide Archived books.  I have looked on tons of pages, tons of questions, etc. and no one else told me that!  I am glad I persevered because I now don't have to look at my archived books anymore on my Nook.  Thanks!
