How do I add a friend on my profile?

A friend of mine just got a new nook recently, so we are trying to add eachother to our profiles (so in the future we can lend eachother books and such).  Well, she said she was able to add me, but for some reason, I can't even find her!

I entered her email address, and it looks like she isn't even here...but I know she is.  So what exactly am I doing wrong?  Help!  She even gave me her "pen name", and I can't find her through that either.

The easiest way is to just have her post on the boards then click on her name, it will take you to her profile.

You don't have to "friend" her to lend books though.

Nothing I tried was working, so she sent me a link to her page, so I added her that way. 

Mostly we wanted to add eachother because we live on opposite sides of the country and we like to keep up with what the other is reading, so maybe we can have long distance book club, share books, etc...

It's so much fun to read together, isn't it?
