Now it might be true, but when the Nook first came out for more than a year or so it was the only device that you ccould side load and read all formats. Until Oct of 2011 you could NOT borrow a book from the library on a Kindle. So when this was written it was very true

LOL, I missed this one the first time it came around.  Good stuff.  I'm probably the only one, but I love when the funny stuff comes back around, and seeing all those old handles that I miss.  Wish some of those folks would come back for a visit.  :smileyhappy:

Don't buy a Nook if you live outside the US, is just not worth. It's been a week and my new tablet is frozen (error 105) and can't navigate any more. I am so frustrated.

I'm pretty sure if you do a search on the boards and also look in the manual you will see that the nook is meant to be used in the USA only. Purchasing one outside the US (or with the sole purpose of using it outside the US) is not the fault of BN but of the customer.

 

If you look at the OP of this thread you will see that it is meant to be a joke.
