If I sell the Nook...then what

If I were to sell my Nook (but I read my NookBooks on my iPad2 or Droid using those apps) will I lose my books? Will I still be able to buy NookBooks?

Thanks!

Re: If I sell the Nook...then what

You won't lose your books at all.  And indeed, you will be able to purchase and sideload more books from B&N and other sources.  Before you sell your N1E, don't forget to call B&N in order to de-register your device.  Your books and other purchases will be kept on the B&N cloud.

Enjoy your new device.

Keep any epub books you have on your computer.  B&N doesn't store those for you, (because they didn't sell you those).  Side load these onto your new device.

I have thought of keeping my NiE and getting a Nook Color also.  The grandkids would get a lot out of it.

You don't need to call BN to deregister the old Nook. The option is in the Settings menu. Very simple.

Re: If I sell the Nook...then what

When you say "sideload" you mean I just need to click the download button on the new ipad2 and it's "there"?

I know I can de-register the device on the device itself, I'm not sure where i found it, but I can easily find it again.

THANKS!

Re: If I sell the Nook...then what

I have pretty much the same library on my Nook and on my iPad Nook app. Only thing I can't load to the iPad is copies of the New York Times, where Nook copies can only be downloaded to an actual Nook.
