Kibbe2
She's stated she knows how it will end and that there will be tears but that it will be a happy ending!
Here is what she says in her blog about KH playing the role of Claire, I would link it but last time I did that they removed it -
Well, evidently there was an article in yesterday's New York Times, regarding (among other things) the possibility of Katherine Heigl playing Claire in a film version of OUTLANDER. It's not like there haven't been all kinds of rumors about everything you could imagine, over the last ten years or so--but this seems to have stirred up a lot of folk, many of whom asked me to post something on the matter.
Had a quick glance at several assorted articles on the subject (to which folk have been sending me links). All of said articles contain the usual amount of careless inaccuracy that you usually see. You really shouldn't get excited about any details mentioned in that sort of piece--like "Scottish heroine," for instance.
That said, I haven't ever seen Ms. Heigl act, but would certainly extend her the courtesy of waiting to see.

I can't believe there is a thread about the Outlander series! I'm on book #4, Drums of Autumn and I can't read it fast enough. LOVE LOVE LOVE this series!!! I have two of my cousins reading it as well.
I haven't read all the posts because some of it is about stuff that happens after the book I'm reading so I didn't want to ruin my reads with spoilers.
Just wanted to say that I am another huge fan of Diana's and really love this series. I think it's even better then the Twilight series was!!! ![]()

Twilight doesn't hold a candle to the Outlander series.
So glad you're loving it, too!![]()

I have to say when an author creates a character that literally makes you *sigh*, she deserves all the credit in the world. I'm not a big romance reaser, but I must say...Outlander is amazing.
I'm trying to get my friend to start it because I NEED someone to discuss with!!
Like how book one ends and book two begins! I feel like I missed a BIG event, though I know I couldn't have.

Wanted to post something else before I forget.
To Kibbe2 - I thought Frank was the one who seen Jamie's ghost in book 1, not Claire? My cousin and I were just talking about that and wondered if Diana would bring that into the books again. Good to know she does. But again, I thought it was Frank who saw the ghost, not Claire. I could be wrong...

Nope Deb, you are right and I have wondered about this myself. I had no one to discuss it with though!

Thanks Jenni! I thought it was Frank. I'm so interested in finding out who he came to see Jamie. I wonder what book that is in? I'll be started book 5 soon.

I might be wrong, I've just finished one and two and I think they both saw Jamie. Claire while seated at the dressing table by the window brushing her hair and Frank while walking back after an evening with the vicar. Frank comments on Jamie when he comes back into the room.
I'm Hooked on this series.

I'll be starting book 4 soon. I needed a little break. I don't recall Claire seeing the figure at all just Frank speaking of it.

You are all quite right it was definitely Frank. I ended up re reading the chapter.
Now that I've finished book 2 I'll probably read something else before starting book 3. If I can resist.
