Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: Lyra Book Light Case

Adn could you please post the cost? I'd love to get one for the nook that I preordered for my wife.

Re: Lyra Book Light Case

I was wondering about that also, a recent power outage made me think about how handy that would be!! Was also wondering why so many accessories say not available til' January

Re: Lyra Book Light Case

It says "early January" on the product page. I really want this case because it will be great for travel, and I like that you can snap nook into place instead of using the ugly elastic straps on the other covers. I'm guessing it will cost about $30-40.

Re: Lyra Book Light Case

I'd love to see a cost listed. I'm wanting to order a case right now but not sure. If this one is too expensive I'd just preorder the neoprene case and work with that. But if I do and this one isn't too bad on price I'll kick myself for not waiting for it instead.

It is $49.99 but apparently not available anymore for the time being.  There was a time there in December you could have pre-ordered it, but it looks like they are either not making it or re-vamping it.

Re: Lyra Book Light Case

I ordered from Barnes and Noble 6 Jan 2010,and expected shipping date was 7-8 feb 2010 but recently checked and a new shipping date appeared 10 March, I heard the demand for this light is so heavy that they can't be made fast enough, their not available in most B.N. stores but B.N. is selling an individual light that attaches to nook, i'm going to sit on the order unless I can find it in the store B.N. ON CLYBOURN in chicago says they will have light for nook in about 10 days its a back ordered mania!!

Re: Lyra Book Light Case

I ordered mine on 12/22 and still haven't received it.  My ship date still shows 2/8/10 -- three days ago!  I was patient waiting for my nook, but this whole thing is getting ridiculous.  Can't B&N get anything right when it comes to the nook?
