My N1E is a wi-fi-only device. What exactly is the difference between a wi-fi-only N1E and a wi-fi 3G N1E device? Can I navigate the www with a 3G device?
Thanks!

No, you can not surf the web with a 3G device. The 3G can only be used to shop and purchase books at B&N. For those not normally in a WiFi spot or who frequent areas without free WiFi, 3G allows them to purchase books from B&N.

bklvr896,
Thank you for your response. Then, my wi-fi N1E has an advantage over the 3G. I can surf, rudimentarily, I reckon, the web with ny N1E wi-fi. I live in a city environment, therefore, wi-fi is a constant presence,
Again, thanks for your input.

You can surf the web on a 3G nook, you just can't use 3G to do it. The 3G nooks also have wifi. Since you have access to wifi, you're not missing anything by having the wifi device rather than the 3G device.

To be correct, you cannot do those things while connected using 3g. The nook's that have 3g also have wifi, and so can do the www etc when so connected.
