[N2E] - Shelf management Feature Request

I have both a N1 and N2.   I think shelf management was simpler on the original Nook.

Currently on the N2E, when you go to edit a shelf, you must scroll through all of your books.  I currently have 20 pages of books. There is no ability to filter or sort this list.

My request is that we be able to filter and sort this list as follows:

Filter : All, Unshelved, Sample, existing shelf name(s). The theory being that when you add new content it does not exist on any shelf and these are the ones you most likely want/need to put on a shelf. Also, I tend to download samples when I find a book as a placeholder.   Then when I am looking for new book, the first thing I may want to consider is an existing sample.

Sort: Most Recent, Title, Author, Sample.   It should be noted that if you are editing a shelf, you cannot tell if a book is a sample or a full book.

Re: [N2E] - Shelf management Feature Request

Yes!  I can't agree more with this.

As the shelves feature currently stands in the N2E it is essentially useless.  The reason for this is that once you put something on a shelf it still appears in the list of books when trying to add something to another shelf.  This makes it extremely difficult to tell what is on a shelf and what is not at any given moment making it very cumbersome to setup shelves when you have more than a handfull of books to shelve.

The N1E would show you your list of books on shelves when adding to a shelf with a helpful "Unshelved" section.  Though, I have to admit, the suggested solution above seems better to me.

Re: [N2E] - Shelf management Feature Request

I also have to agree with this request.  It is very annoying to try to sort all of my books onto shelves when I have over 400 books.  I love that all of my books whether purchased from B&N or not are available but I cannot sort the list of books at all when trying to set up my shelving.  To continually scroll through the list of books by title when what I need is to have more options for setting up and viewing shelves is driving me nuts.  I am wishing that I had stuck with my original nook instead of buying the simple touch.  I cannot even find my most recently purchased books to scroll through and read.
