Nook Tech support are some of the stupidest people I have had the non pleasure of speaking with!! I am yet agian, on the phone with them for the 4th time trying to get a book downloaded to my Nook. It seems after changing my email address on B&N.com I was thrown into a world of repeated phone calls and stupid people!! How hard can it be to update a freaking e-mail address!! I even downloaded Nook PC to see if I could sync it to get on my Nook. No help!
Each of the 4 people I've spoken with said they would unregister and update my email on the Nook.
REP #1 stated that I could unregister my nook and once I powered back on I could change and enter my new email address. LIE #1.
REP #2 stated they would unregister my Nook and I would able to go into my devise and change my email adress to coincide with b&n.com. Oh just turn off your Nook for and hour and then restart and no problem. LIE #2!! I click unregister and it then asks me to register...okay great I think but then it says its already registered!! That's all it will let me do.
REP #3 One of the Reps even blacklisted my Nook to appear it was stolen!! After it was blacklisted (unbeknown to me) I called yet again and the rep (rep #4) there told me that it was blacklisted (which I didn't even know what it was) but based on our conversation saw it was an error. She assured me it would be fixed and I woul be able to download my book no problem. Yet another unskilled rep working at your tech support.
Well I am on to the 5th person!! Okay this REP told me....as the others did that I wouldbe able to turn my Nook off and back on in an hour and voila...I can Rerigester my Nook with the new email. I doubt it.
AND not to mention each person that I have spoken with does not understand or either can't comprehend what I am saying as they keep asking the same question over and over and over again and still seem to not understand my issue at ALL or how to resolve it.
CAN WE GET SOME ENGLISH SPEAKING (1ST LANGUAGE) TECH SUPPORT and SOME THAT ARE COMPETENT??!!!

One would think that they would at least have access to, and familiarity with, the manual. The procedure is covered in there.

While it is not always convenient depending on how far from the nearest B&N you are, you'll always get better service going in to a store.
Let's face it, phone support is terrible no matter what company you deal with. (If they use a call center - not their own people)
