New here and loving my NOOK!!

I have had my Nook WiFi for a little over three weeks now and am totally loving it.  I have read several B&N books already.  I am now reading a "lend me" book from a friend, and today also sideloaded a library e-book to my Nook--all without any issues--thank goodness!!  So far-so good.  Oh--I also converted a bunch of pictures of my grandbabies to B & W and resized them to fit perfectly on my nook screen, and loaded them as screensavers.  It makes me smile to see my precious babies everytime I open my Nook or put it to sleep.

I am excited to finally be a member of the e-reader community!!

One thing I would really love to see for our nooks is a place where we can "put" our read books--such as an "e-bookshelf" on our nook with it's own touchscreen button.  Then it would give the feel of putting our read books back on the shelf:smileyhappy:

Welcome!  Glad you're enjoying your nook.

There's a thread for requesting future enhancements.  You may want to check it out and add your voice.

Welcome!

I, completely, understand where you are coming from.

I've had my Nook for about a month with no problems!

Take advantage of the "freebies" every week and Free Fridays are interesting.

The only time it "froze" was when I tapped on the touch screen too many times.

Get a case and warranty for your Nook.

You'll be glad you did.

Welcome once again

and have fun.

Re: New here and loving my NOOK!!

I have had my nook for a couple of weeks now,  Honestly it is the best thing since sliced bread.  I had to give up my joy of reading years ago because of severe arthritis in my hands and fingers.  It really limited my ability to hold a book to read.  Since I have had my NOOK, I have read three books and countless sample books with no problems.  This is the best gift I ever got for myself.

That is fantastic!  I'm so happy for you -- your post really gave me a lift.

I hope that you continue to enjoy the reading experience that your Nook has made possible for you.
