Nook classic and games

You know it would be really nice if someone could update the Nook classic and add more games just like the NookColor. Just because you have released a new Nook does not mean you forget about the rest of your customers. I enjoy reading from my nook but would also like to ahve more chioce in games to play if I decide not to read on a long flight or drive. Please don't leave out your Nook classic customers.

I wish they would remove the games they already have on the Nook Classic.  I've never used them.

I am glad my parents that got the nook classic for me as a gift only paid $149 instead of it being priced at $189 and having a bunch of unrelated items that I did not want/need on an ereader.

I am hoping B&N worrys more about pulling a profit and not instead employing AND PAYING a bunch of people to sit arond and develop games for a 18 month old device that few will care about. 

My #1 hope for B&N is they stay in business.

I suspect there won't be any more updates to the Nook classic*. B&N will sell them until the supply runs out. For now enjoy the things you got your Nook for in the first place - reading, playing the games that are on it already, listening to audio books and maybe even playing around with the browser. It's a great device as it is and well worth the money, in my opinion, even if it never gets another update.

*I have no solid sources or facts to back this up; it's just my own assumption.

I agree! I took my Nook Classic into Barnes and Noble to ask when the next update was, and they totally ignored me because the person behind me asked the same thing, but he had the Nook Color! I was furious!

I don't understand why not make the last update that will free the firmware for all the developers. I consider it a courtesy with a product that no longer has any support from me.
