Hi there! Ok I have a N1E w/3G. And no intent to sell it so I need a new charger my old one is well seen better days. I haven't been to a B&N store in a while so my question is does B&N still sell the charger that I need? Or could a charger from the new nooks work? I haven't looked at any of the new nooks up close. Can sombody help? Thank you!
Just about any USB charger will work.
The charger for the NOOK Simple Touch will work fine in the N1E. I have also used an iPhone charger, an iPad charger, and a Samsung Galaxy phone charger to charge the N1E.

It's a standard micro-USB connector, that you can pick up at any electronics store for a couple bucks. B&N overcharges for them, frankly.
Here's a Blackberry connector of the right type from Amazon, to get an idea what you need: http://www.amazon.com/Blackberry-Charger-Adapter-P
But I'd check your local stores.

Yeah, for the N1E, it's a garden-variety 500ma USB charger. Just about any charger with the appropriate USB plug will work fine. You probably have some lying around from mobile phones.
I think the N2E (Simple Touch Reader) uses the same charger. You'd have to take a look at the specs (between the prongs).
The NOOK Color definitely uses a non-standard charger. I suspect the Tablet might also, but I don't know.

You think correctly, it's the same micro-USB connector cable, though the NST no longer comes with the wall plug. BN charges $10(!!!!) to get the wall plug separately.
