Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

SD card on NST makes my cover art disappear...?

I just recently installed an SD card onto my Nook Simple Touch and migrated the books from the main memory over to the card.  I did this first using simple drag and drop from my computer, and then I deleted the books and copied them again using Calibre, and have gotten the same result both times...

That result being, now that I am looking at my books on the SD card from My Library within the Nook, it is showing them within folders of the author's name, and there is no longer any cover art on any of the icons for my ebooks in the library listing.

I don't understand why using them with the SD card would delete any cover art that they once had associated with them within the Nook.  Is there any way to get them to be on the SD card and appear like they used to within the main memory, as books themselves, NOT within AUTHOR folders, and with cover art still attached as the icons?

Thanks!

Ok, but for the next person that has the same issue... HOW did you figure it out.  We're all about sharing here.

Re: SD card on NST makes my cover art disappear...?

Kinda stupid, really... it was all based upon how I had the files viewable, from the drop down list. For some reason, when looking at ALL FILES, I believe, it showed it by author and within each author's folder, but when I changed it to see books, it showed up correctly.
