I got sick of My Nook and then I got sick of Anne's Book. Because it uses Android, I decided to call it Norman (that was an android in an old Star Trek episode ). Once I get bored with that, I might rename it after another famous androi -- maybe Bishop or Data. Or even Max 404 from the movie Android.

In yet another obscure sci-fi reference, I named my nook Livingston.

Ok, yet another sci-fi reference:
When I saw 2001 for the first time, one of the many things that stuck with me was the "data pad" where news, the BBC etc was available. So it's called Data Pad.

I named her Pandora. Debated between that & Aphrodite (since I read a lot of romance), but I see where someone named theirs Calliope...I'm liking that as well.

I got my nook as a birthday present .. my hubby thinks it will help reduce the number of books in the house. It just might.
I have currently named it HappyThoughts -- since it will be my escape from the insanity of life. Gotta Love a man who helps give you 'me time' and supports your reading addiction. LOL

I'm sending a defective nook back to the Maker. RIP - The deceased's name was "Looky looky here comes nookie" - attributed to Frannie from Stephen King's, The Stand.

My Nook is currently "Lady Chatterly;" however I'm thinking about changing its name to "Nanook of the North," 'cause the darn thing has frozen up since I downloaded 1.2. I was right in the middle of a good story!
