if ur preoder book wont go through on ur nook...

it happen to me i preoder a book n it wouldnt go through when the book come out.. it take me forever to figure it out how i got it to go through is update ur nook.. how to update is go to the library n go to app i think .. there should say on the corner of it update that how i got my book on it so now i can read it i hope that help

You've got me baffled, as this is one of the nook First Edition forums and the nook First Edition and nook Simple Touch doen't do "apps".

Perhaps you're using a nook Color or nook Tablet?

On the First Edition you should be able to request an update to you on board books by tapping check for updates on the small color LCD touch screen while viewing the main library page (requires a WiFi connection). If that doesn't work try turning the nook First Edition completely off (full off, not the screen saver mode with the image on the main display).
