nook wish list

Is there a limit to the number of books that can be added to the Nook wish list? I seem to be at a 31 title limit.

Re: nook wish list

There's evidently a problem with the site...  no one has been able to add to the ebook wish list using the "add to" link.

only way to add titles right now is directy on the ebook wish list page.

Hopefully they'll fix this soon but its been at least a month since its been noticed.

Re: nook wish list

Just tried to add a book to my ebook wish list this morning from the free nook book blog, still not fixed.

Re: nook wish list

I called customer service yesterday.  The person I spoke to was apparently unaware of the problem.  They accessed my acct. & were unsuccessful in adding to my ebook wish list also.  Then they checked with someone & told me that they could get no info as to when or if this problem would be fixed.  Told me to use the area on the wish list and enter a name for whatever book I wanted to add.  This person was perplexed when I protested that I wanted to continue to browse and add books at will.  It would be nice to get a definitive answer as to when this problem will be fixed.  I enjoy using the Nook but this is just one more reason to forget about the Nook and buy ebooks somewhere else.

They have acknowledge there's an issue, Alex acknowledge it last week or so.  They are working on fixing.  The can't give you a definitive answer as to when it will be fixed because they first have to figure out what caused the problem in the first place and then they have to fix it without it breaking something else.  It's most likely an unintended consequence of something else they changed on the site totally unrelated to the wishlist funciton.

I wish they wouuld get it fixed also as I find it annoying, but since there's nothing I can do about it, I go with, they're aware of it, they'll get it fixed when they get it fixed.

Re: nook wish list

Just an FYI for anyone that's interested:

I keep my wishlist on Goodreads.  I used to use the B&N wishlist, but the two separate lists for DTBs and ebooks made me a little crazy, and then I got my N2E and the wishlist on the device doesn't sync to the website list.  So I exported both of my B&N lists (you can do this through the website) and imported them to Goodreads.  Now when I want to buy a book I just click the "buy" link on Goodreads and select the B&N option.  Goodreads then opens the page for the book at bn.com and I can buy the book.

Also, I like to read reviews before I add a book to my wishlist, and Goodreads has more useful reviews, so there's that too.

I'm on Goodreads - If you friend me send me a PM :smileyhappy:

This is a good incentive for me to finally check out Goodreads. Thanks, keriflur!
