Authorizing device

Please, can you tell me how to authorize a device for my accout?

I am tring to transfer a book from my local public library to my Nook.

It downloaded into the Nook app for PC, but I would like to have it on my Nook Color for  practicality sake!

You must install Adobe Digital Editions on your computer to use library books with your Nook.

Nook for PC is for B&N books and some of your personal content.  The full instructions for ADE are here:
